Over the last 6+ weeks my thank you’s might be getting a little tiresome by now but in addition to my ridiculous family and friends pulling out all the stops there have been some businesses and organisations that have gone beyond generosity in their kindness to me. Some are people I know but others are complete strangers who’ve I’ve never dealt with before let alone met.

I would therefore like to not only thank but recommend them as they’ve all been amazing. These are (in no particular order):

Lulu Plews, Hair Stylist extraordinaire who has always cut my hair but also styled it on my wedding day to make me feel like a supermodel. What a legend –   www.luluplews.com

Hannah Phillips, Hair Colourist who has been my actual magician for years transforming my very boring mousy brown hair to golden locks and even came to banish my roots just after she’d had her beautiful baby as an incredible favour so Danny would thankfully still recognise me down the aisle  – www.b-a-n-g-s.tumblr.com

Loola and Goo, having never spoken to the guys before they made me cry with their kindness and help at making Lolita upstage her mummy in THAT dress and hairband (see wedding moments post) – www.loolaandgoo.com

Happy Heads, Kim is a dear friend who has been extraordinary at calming me down during my most anxious moments. She helps children and adults through various alternative mindful tools and has saved me as she does with many others several times over the last few weeks – www.happyheads.me

Canababes, a very old school friend of mine happens to have set up one of the best events catering companies in London which was pretty handy for our wedding! Their food is simple yet blows me away every time and there wasn’t a single person at that meal would didn’t come up to us after and say just how delicious the sharing style pull-apart melt-in-the-mouth lamb was – www.canababes.com

Fiona Lewsey at Taylor Vinters, on a slightly different vibe if my situation has made you realise you really should sort out your wills (which it really should) then I can’t recommend enough Fiona who after very patiently dealt with our total chaotic and extremely complicated lives and businesses for 2 years and finally got us to agree and sign our wills in a 3hr meeting just a few weeks ago giving me the best piece of mind going forward – fiona.lewsey@taylorvinters.com

Jamie Chung, photographer who doesn’t do weddings (sorry) but seeming as he’s pretty much family I guilt tripped him into it (brain tumours do wonders). Check out his other photography at http://www.instagimg.com/user/shotbychung/7187812

Ultimate Power, a sensational night I used to go to way back when I first moved to London when it was in a tiny bar where everyone used to scream until they lost their voice and dance on tables until the early hours. It has since grown into one of the biggest club nights in the UK which has been amazing to watch. Luckily Alex, one of the founders is a good friend and very very kindly agreed to DJ for us. If you want one of the most fun nights then go to – www.ultimatepowerclub.com

Abi England Reflexology, a beautiful soul inside and out that has a wonderful studio in Crouch End or will come to your home. She is just amazing – www.abienglandreflexology.co.uk

Feast Catering London, a high-end office catering company that also happens to be owned by our dear friend Dom who has fed us delicious food when I first came out of hospital. I just wished I still worked in an office to order from him everyday – www.feast-london.com

James Harknett– Bespoke celebrity spray tanner based at the W Hotel that convinced everyone I’m a little more Spanish that English for my wedding day and made me laugh so much when I looked my most attractive in a paper thong and nothing else whilst he sprayed away. Total legend in every way – www.jamesharknett.co.uk

Hoffman Process, this is something a few years ago when life was getting pretty stressful and I knew I needed some help at dealing with it all. It wasn’t until after the week long highly intense course that I realised how much I and with little exaggeration everyone should do it. It changed my life (for the better) and I know without a shadow of a doubt I wouldn’t have been able to cope the way I have without having done this those years ago. It took me a while to book because I thought you needed to have had some sort of traumatic event happen, which I hadn’t, but literally anyone would benefit from it and I can’t recommend it highly enough. I’m also more than happy to talk about it or if after the surgery redirect you to someone else that can – www.hoffmaninstitute.co.uk

So that’s it (for now!) although this in no way diminishes from all the other unsung friend and family heroes who have fed, made me laugh, looked after Loli and generally been ridiculous in their help. Gosh we love you all THIIIIIIIIIS much!
